Day 25

Standard

Not a lot to report today but the good news is that I had great day!

I slept peacefully throughout the night, woke up for an hour, then went back to sleep till 11:30! The lack of sleep from when I  first returned home from California is catching up with me. I was getting an average of two to three hours of sleep each night for the first week and a half after surgery.

Today’s pain level has been very low, Praise God! Just minimal pressure behind my eyes and seeing spots. Weakness and fatigue is my biggest symptom but is expected after surgery and can last for a few months after. As I tell my family, if I am not in pain, I can overcome any other symptom!

Thank you so much to all of you that have reached out to my family and I after watching yesterday’s TV interview with WVUA! The interview has not been posted to YouTube just yet but will be tomorrow at the latest. Please also keep in mind that if you are reading this blog with similar pre-op symptoms that I experienced feel free to email me with any questions. My email address is aemontgomery1@crimson.ua.edu!

Much love,
Anna

P.S. We have almost 22,000 views on the blog and reached over 20 countries!!! If I have touched one person throughout this journey or help someone suffering with a pineal cystic tumor then all of this is well worth the journey!!
